New Construction
Raynham, Ma
This new construction home has a farmhouse design with a subtle modern flare. The changing steep gable roof lines give a nod to more traditional farmhouse design and strategic implementation of transparency (glass) gives compliment with a modern touch. Select locations for standing seam metal roofs give the exterior appearance added texture and tone through material selection.
The interior layout of the home has a wide open feel on the first floor "public" spaces. The kitchen and living room areas are essentially one large space "zoned" through the visual use of materials, furniture and spatial proportion. The living room area has large expanse of glass on both the front and back walls creating a transparency thru from the "public" street side to the back "more private" yard and proposed pool area. The second floor "private" area boasts three moderate sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A second floor laundry, storage closet spaces and common (play area) are also incorporated into the second floor program. The back portion of the house has an over-sized "work" garage with an office space above for the owner's business needs.
This new home will provide the home owners with ample space for their family, while at the same time utilizing program needs in an efficient manner by keeping the overall square footage under control. The design gives the home "curb appeal" and resists the appearance of a large intrusive house that overpowers the neighborhood and surrounding site.
